The interior walls and ceilings are also gorgeous hardwood. The exterior walls of the house are made of fiber cement (very durable) cast to look like wood. The house has a clay-tile roof (with an underlying tin roof), which moderates the temperature and muffles the sound of the rain. The house has hot water throughout.

The concrete guesthouse is very comfortable, with two bedrooms, a bath, living/dining area and a small kitchen area. It is nicely finished and furnished (furniture can be included). On one side of the house is a laundry area and a bath (for use by workers or guests wandering the grounds). The guesthouse has its own water, electricity and septic tank, so it could easily be used as a rental house, if desired.

The entire property is exquisitely landscaped. The gardens are gorgeous and are in perfect condition (maintained by a local gardener, who is available to stay on with a new owner). There is also a small fish pond with fountain. You really must see it to fully appreciate it!

This property has its own propane-fired, 100-amp, emergency generator that comes on automatically if there is a disruption to the power supply. The community has its own water supply (tested several times a year). The house has its own storage tank and pressure pump to boost the pressure. The property is surrounded by a low retaining wall (good base for a fence, if desired), as well as by a low electric fence to keep the pets in.
