Nice warm weather and lots of sunshine from beautiful Costa Rica

This month we have a lot of exciting news for you again, like we always try to do. In this same newsletter, you'll find some real exceptional properties that we call "Hot Properties". They're hot because they're fire sales and you have to move on them quickly.

Now you're asking yourself why you should move quickly if nothing in the United States and other parts of the world is selling anymore. Mistake!!! In Costa Rica, properties are still selling, believe it or not.

Being the # 1 retirement country of the world, with the happiest people of earth in it, prices are staying stable and properties are selling. But, believe it or not, with 32 agents in our group (and some of the partners have only the owner of the company listed with us) we are not able to get more than 6 REAL hot properties together.

That's how few sellers, of the 1,093 listings we have today that are real bargains. So if you want to get a good buy, move now.

GoDutch Realty just opened up a new area: de Los Santos valley. This valley is located between Cartago and San Isidro del General, off the Panamerican highway that takes you from San Jose to Cartago.

Why this area? Because it's a beautiful area, it offers a cooler climate, its very quiet there and prices are still affordable. Our main man there is Tony Warren who is going through a thorough training right now.

Located on the Pacific side of the Talamancan Mountain Range, Dota rises up to over 9000 feet, giving it a wide range of micro-climates. In the upper ranges an occasional frost during the cooler months is not uncommon, yet in the lower ranges tropical fruits such as pineapple flourish.

We just had quite a downpour few days ago in some parts of the country, but overall, we have the usual nice warm weather and lots of sunshine we always have during eastern week and April. Everything is nice and green and just waiting for y'all to come and enjoy it.

Sonesta Jaco Resort files suit against lenders

I'd like to insist that Government officials not only put this decree in the closet but that it will be used and the local and Costarican consumer will be protected better.

If you, as a buyer, don't want to take any risk when you invest your money, buy an existing and finished product where you will have clear rules to play by and don't buy in pre-construction phases.

Me, as an investor and real estate agent myself, I've learn my lesson and will never trust my and my client's money to a developer again, unless there will be controls and regulations. (read more ...)
